Improvements pushed back. A temporary timetable that isn’t so temporary. Cancellations. Delays. Staffing problems. The problems on our local trains just keep going.
The Government are patting themselves on the back as though the job is done now that they’ve finally introduced a compensation scheme. But that’s a secondary issue. Top priority has to be a functioning, dependable train service and we are a long way from that.
Northern need to be held to account for their failures.
